It causing with mail.ru, they have option to create separate password for outer app. There is a log:

Thanks for the log — that told me exactly where it dies. The crash happens while Mailspring is reading the folder list from imap.mail.ru: the server is returning the same folder path more than once, and the sync engine tries to insert it twice into its local database, which the UNIQUE constraint failed: Folder.id line is complaining about. It then restarts and hits the same thing, which is the loop you’re seeing. The app-specific password is fine — the account got past login.

There’s no setting on your side that changes what the server lists, so this needs a fix in the sync engine (skip duplicate folder entries). I’ve logged it. If you’re still using mail.ru with Mailspring and want to help me confirm it, the first ~100 lines of the account log right after “Syncing folder list…” (Developer > Open Mailsync Logs) would show the duplicated LIST responses.
