I searched for this issue and did find that it was requested and reportedly fixed in Windows some years back: The window title should display the title of the currently selected email · Issue #256 · Foundry376/Mailspring · GitHub
However, I am currently seeing “Mailspring” as the window title on most Mailspring windows on Kubuntu Linux.
If I open a received message, it does show the message subject in the title as expected. The inbox list, though, just shows “Mailspring”, as does a new message compose window. This makes it a bit annoying to know which is which if, say, I have multiple draft messages open and am trying to find the right one in my taskbar.
I haven’t used Mailspring on other platforms but I’m assuming the normal/desired behaviour is for the window title to be the subject of the email (in the case of a compose window) or the name of the currently displayed folder (in the case of a message list).
Is there anything I can provide to help diagnose this?
