Please bring back the option to disable Threading / Conversation View.
For those of us who manage a large number of emails, being forced to have all messages grouped into conversations makes Mailspring much less practical and convenient to use.
I need to be able to see and manage each individual email as a separate message in my inbox, instead of having multiple messages automatically grouped into a single conversation. With the current system, it is much more difficult to identify which email has just arrived, when it was received, and to locate or manage a specific message.
I completely understand that Conversation View may be useful for some people, but it should be a choice, not a mandatory way of working for everyone.
It would be enough to bring back a simple option such as:
☐ Group messages into conversations
Those who prefer working with conversations can keep it enabled, while those who prefer seeing each email individually can disable it.
Everyone organizes and manages their email differently. It makes no sense to force all users to use a single system when both ways of displaying messages can perfectly coexist.
Please make Threading / Conversation View optional again for all users. In my case, if there is no way to disable this view, I will have to stop using Mailspring, because the current conversation system makes it unusable for the way I manage my email.
Voted for this for one reason: I don’t want my sent mail to also be in my inbox. That’s why there’s a Sent Mail box, and the default threading breaks this very basic functionality.
