Same problem here.
I presume it has to do with Microsoft’s 2FA authentication.
It’s always, always outlook giving these issues. I think part of the fault is also on Microsoft. I hope the Mailspring team can do something about it though.

FIX!! Roll Back to 1.16.0! Didn’t think it would work, but it did!! Got my account back up after 30 failed attempts with 1.17.1

was it a Microsoft thing? I am on Vers. 1. 16.0-5339a49f and it is now working!?!? The 1.17 recent ver. can receive mail but can’t sent?! from any account.

Still can not login.

Still Can not send mail still With Spectrum, it is received ok… weird… is it an OAUTH req’d problem? GMail and Hotmail can…
