Reply textbox lost focus after upgrading to release 1.20.0

Description

The reply textbox doesn’t accept any inputted text. It defaults to shortcuts which open a new compose message, deletes the thread on backspace, etc. Composing new message still works and is able to accept inputted text.

To Reproduce…

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click on reply to any email.

  2. Start typing in the textbox.

Expected Behavior

Expected that the text shows up in the reply textbox.

This is a duplicate of Hotkey shortcuts triggering while trying to type — the same keyboard regression from v1.20.0. It’s been fixed, please update to v1.21.1 (released May 19, 2026).
